The Forester’s Lager, at only 3.6% alcohol, is low in alcohol but big in flavour. A well-balanced, hoppy beer that’s slightly sweet and great on the palate, this lager is a refreshing drink for a hot day. Bosuns Bitter is the first ‘real ale’ produced in South Africa, a heavier beer modelled on the English Yorkshire Bitter. It’s full of body and character, not too bitter, and perfect for those looking for something a little different. One of the (many) things that sets Mitchell’s Brewery beers apart from others is that it’s in a plastic bottle with a screw cap, meaning you can take it with you to picnics, beaches, festivals and all kinds of places glass isn’t allowed.
